    Matrox RT2500...

    was it worth your while?
    truly realtime?..fill me in.

    The Matrox RT2500 outputs realtime 2D and 3D tranistions and effects to Analogue only. If you want to output to DV you need to render every transition, title and effect. So the way to do it is edit in Analogue and then grab some lunch when you want to output it to DV.

    Just got the rt2500 sorted and installed 100gb of storage. As far as I can see I have no problems yet and i have had a bit of a play (i havn't had much time to check it out properly)...it's really good and far superior to the studio dc30 which we were using. I would say...yes, it's a winner!
